Job Description

The British Medical Association (BMA) is seeking a Multimedia Producer to join its in-house creative team on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. The role involves producing a wide range of engaging multimedia content, with a mix of working from home and BMA House in Central London. The successful candidate will also be required to travel across the UK for on-location filming.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing video and audio production and editing services across various outputs.
  • Identifying and implementing creative solutions for communications challenges in collaboration with project leads.
  • Collaborating with the engagement and communications teams to deliver content for digital channels.
  • Assisting the Senior Multimedia Producer with photographic services, including planning photoshoots and arranging external resources as required.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Professional and demonstrable experience in a multimedia environment, specifically in producing videos, audio, and photography.
  • Experience in creating engaging narrative-based content.
  • High-level interviewing skills to build successful relationships and gather necessary information.
  • Creativity and innovation to ensure client needs are met.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to provide optimal solutions to briefs.
  • A knowledge and understanding of the issues facing the UK doctor population today will be an advantage.
