Job Description

We are seeking a Web Developer (Shopify) to join one of the largest digital agencies in the Midlands, located just north of Nottingham. The salary range for this position is £35,000-£45,000. The ideal candidate will be a budding professional in web design and development with a passion for JavaScript, HTML, and other web technologies. You will collaborate closely with our creative UI/UX team to create well-coded and efficient websites based on their concepts. This role offers the opportunity to work with well-known brands and showcase your capabilities while keeping up with the latest web technologies.

Requirements

The essential requirements for this role include:

• Shopify Experience
• Experience with HTML
• Experience with CSS and CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS
• Familiarity with CSS Frameworks such as TailwindCSS and Bootstrap
• Proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation
• Experience in building eCommerce websites is preferable but not essential
• Understanding of React and its core principles
• Experience with React workflows
• Familiarity with the newer specification of JavaScript (ES6 or newer)
• Experience working with JSON
• Experience building accessibility-compliant web applications
• Familiarity with Next.js is preferable but not essential
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (git)
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Familiarity with unit testing
• Experience working in an Agile environment
