Job Title: Senior 3D Character Artist (FTC)

Location: Hybrid (occasional in-office presence required)

Contract Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior 3D Character Artist to join our team on an exciting new project. This position is ideal for someone passionate about bringing stylized characters to life and who thrives in a collaborative and creative environment. The role requires working closely with other artists and leads to maintain a consistent and high-quality art style throughout the game.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the art team to create visually appealing, stylized characters and creatures.
• Ensure that all character assets align with the established artistic direction and maintain quality benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain the character modeling pipeline to support efficient and high-standard production.
• Translate 2D concept art into fully realized 3D models with strong attention to detail.
• Contribute to character production tools and pipeline development to optimize workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in AAA-quality, stylized character art.
• Exceptional 3D modeling skills, particularly in Blender for creating stylized characters and creatures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively translate 2D concept art into 3D models.
• Strong understanding of character design, anatomy, and artistic principles.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Substance for texturing is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously as needed.
• Previous character animation experience is a bonus.

• Candidates must be open to working as a limited company or sole trader.
• The role is a hybrid position requiring one day per week or at least monthly visits to the studio.
• There is potential for a long-term or permanent offer following the contract period.
