The Creative team at Wood Mackenzie focuses on delivering a trusted visual brand through digital, print, and video assets. The team collaborates with various departments to drive revenue generation and communication efforts, including stakeholder meetings and creative ideation.

This role is aimed at those with a passion for video and storytelling, particularly within a B2B environment. Key responsibilities include video editing, creating motion graphics, and collaborating with stakeholders to produce engaging content aligned with brand guidelines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• Experience in video editing and animation within a similar role
• A degree or equivalent in art/video/digital design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A showreel that demonstrates experience and ability
• A cover letter explaining suitability for the role
• Experience editing short-form content (interviews, webinars, social media teasers, product promos)
• Experience in 2D animation and creating motion graphic elements
• A solid understanding of graphic design, composition, and typography
• Advanced skills in Apple’s FCPX ecosystem and/or Adobe’s Creative Suite
• Sound judgment in music selection for projects
• Experience in transcribing videos and adding captions
• An interest in the latest digital technologies and trends in video post-production

Desirables

Additional desirable skills include:

• Experience with DSLR cameras, audio, and lighting equipment
• Experience in planning and executing video shoots with freelancers
• An interest or experience in 3D animation software, specifically Cinema 4D
