About the role: We are seeking a talented videographer/editor with a passion for creating compelling video content, particularly in fashion and social media. The individual will be responsible for shooting, planning, and editing high-quality videos that effectively convey our brand message and engage our target audience. You will collaborate with the internal video team and the offsite media team to create visual storyboards, scripts, and shot lists while enhancing video content using industry-standard software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging product video content from concept to execution for various platforms and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure videos align with marketing strategies.
  • Carry out all aspects of pre-production including script development, creation of storyboards, and equipment management.
  • Direct talent performance on set in line with the concept and script.
  • Co-ordinate and assist tasks for lighting technicians and production team.
  • Manage all aspects of video production including camera operation, sound recording, lighting setup, and crew management.
  • Prepare detailed ā€˜kit listsā€™ for shoots, ensuring alignment with storyboards and budget considerations.
  • Work efficiently in fast-paced environments, making key decisions and problem-solving as necessary.
  • Edit videos using Premiere Pro, including color grading and incorporating music, sound effects, and graphics.
  • Provide master and cut-down edits across multiple ratios to meet marketing deliverablesā€™ requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in video production and storytelling with a strong portfolio.
  • Knowledge of camera operation techniques including composition, lighting, and sound.
  • Proficiency in the use of production equipment and experience working as part of a crew.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and related tools.
  • Understanding of technical post-production techniques including color grading and motion graphics.
  • Good knowledge of visual storytelling techniques and the ability to craft narratives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of current videography trends and adaptability to new approaches.
  • A self-starter able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for creating visually captivating content with a commitment to delivering results.
  • Ability to produce content quickly in high-pressure environments.
  • Aware of best practices across mobile-first social platforms.
