Title – Digital Marketing Executive (Fixed Term Contract – 10 months Maternity Cover)
Location – Kingston Upon Thames
Role – Hybrid (3 days in office per week)
Start Date – December 2024
Are you passionate about travel, adventure and love social media and marketing? We’re seeking a proactive, creative and analytical Digital Social Media Executive to join our marketing team at TruTravels in our Kingston Upon Thames office. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and enhancing our social media presence across multiple platforms, engaging with our community and contributing to our broader marketing strategy. This role is perfect for someone with a strong grasp of social media management, content creation and digital marketing strategy, ideally with a passion for travel and brand storytelling. The successful applicant will be based in London and would be happy to be in the office 3 days per week.
Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role with a proven ability to increase engagement and brand visibility.
Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of major social media platforms, algorithms and content optimisation strategies.
Organisational Skills: Highly organised, efficient and capable of managing a content schedule and multiple projects simultaneously.
Data-Driven: Confident in interpreting analytics and presenting data to senior management to guide decision-making.
Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in graphic design, video editing and creating digital assets is an advantage.
SEO & Blog Writing: Working knowledge of SEO principles and blog writing to support content visibility and engagement.
Flexibility & Initiative: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, take initiative and independently seek out creative ways to enhance the brand’s social media presence.
Experience with paid ad campaigns is preferable but not required.
Passion for Travel: An enthusiasm for travel and adventure, reflected in the ability to create aspirational and relatable content.
Team-Oriented: A strong communicator who thrives in a team setting and is excited to grow within the marketing department.
Strategic Thinker: Proactive and forward-thinking in developing creative strategies that align with brand objectives.
Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Comfortable with data and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to content and campaign tracking.
