We are seeking a fully remote creative Animation Director to join our UK team, who will be a part of our global network working closely with Animators, Producers, and Marketing Managers located in Europe, Asia, and North America. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, strong visualizing and storytelling skills, and the ability to actively listen and effectively communicate ideas. This is a great opportunity for a resourceful and self-motivated individual who can take ownership of projects, listen to clients’ vision, and balance creative processes with production needs. The work environment is highly dynamic, requiring responsiveness, organization, and comfort working under tight project deadlines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of full-time industry experience in the creative and art departments is required, preferably in advertising.

• Understanding of 3D workflow and most common software platforms (After Effects, 3D Studio Max).

• Understanding of editing software, Premiere Pro.

• Be creative, imaginative and equipped with artistic flair.

• Possess strong storytelling and conceptual skills.

• Be an excellent communicator and problem solver.

Position Responsibilities and Job Duties

• Facilitate, communicate, and direct the project vision to designers, animators, audio engineers, and VFX artists in different offices.

• Guide and supervise the animation team during the project process, assisting with ideas, style, quality, and execution while keeping in check with time schedules and constraints.

• Liaise with producers to deliver a high-quality animatic in conjunction with clients’ expectations within the given timeline.

• Attend meetings with the agencies/clients to understand their creative briefs, concepts, and stylistic/artistic needs.

• Help agencies/clients pre-visualize the storyboard and deliver their concepts in the form of a commercial test-spot (animatic).
