Job Description

APEX Mobile Media, a leading mobile advertising company in Canada, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Front End Developer to join their team in Toronto. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Technology and work closely with senior developers on client-facing executions and the proprietary SaaS product, The Altitude Platform.

Responsibilities

The Junior Front End Developer is responsible for:

• Providing support to the senior Front End Developer.
• Designing, developing, and implementing client-facing executions.
• Building reusable, testable code and libraries for future use.
• Fixing bugs in existing features.
• Assisting in the QA process and ensuring production readiness for staging features.
• Creating and maintaining documentation as required.
• Designing and developing a custom web application using existing frameworks.

Requirements

Candidates should possess:

• Diploma in Computer Programming or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to translate design mockups into working code.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience programming with React.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Ability to work with REST APIs.
• Bootstrap experience (nice to have).
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Proof of ability: Able to provide examples/portfolio of previous work.
• Excellent command of English; French language skills are a bonus.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON, and willing to work 3 days a week in the office located in downtown Toronto.

Additional Information
