Job Description

Job Title: Web Front End Developer

Location: Remote, can sit either in east coast hours or pacific hours

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate: $91.00/hr on W2

Hours: 9am to 6pm typical hours

This role is not a lead position; the developer will be working as an individual contributor primarily focused on testing.

Experience in the entertainment industry, as well as purchase/ecommerce and streaming, is preferred. Familiarity with companies using technology for credit card processing is a plus.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with web application development using JavaScript
• Previous experience with large-scale browser-based delivery and high-volume/high-traffic sites
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design, data structures, and algorithms
• Deep understanding of web application development and best practices
• Experience developing responsive websites
• Solid knowledge of CSS, Sass/LESS, and HTML
• Proficient in React.js or Vue.js
• Solid knowledge of HTML DOM and Event APIs
• Experience reading network panels and performance dashboards (understanding server-browser interaction)
• Experience working with OOP PHP
• Effective communication skills
• Refined understanding of how to “Test” code and applications for performance and correctness

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with GraphQL
• Experience working with Next.js and Node.js
• Familiarity with frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or Zend
• Working knowledge of Docker and CI tools
• Experience with observability tools for logs and performance monitoring
• Refined processes for Diagramming and Documentation to communicate design and ideas
