Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Producer to join the production team of Think Fast, a new high-energy, comedy improv web series. This role is ideal for a creative, highly organized professional with a strong background in video production, live event coordination, or improv comedy. The Producer will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from pre-production planning to post-production coordination, ensuring that the show’s creative vision and logistical needs are seamlessly executed.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, crew management, and timeline adherence.
• Talent and Crew Coordination: Manage the hiring and scheduling of cast and crew, including the host, improv talent, and technical team members.
• Set Design and Location Scouting: Assist in securing filming locations and coordinating with set designers to create a dynamic, engaging environment for the series.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the director and creative team to ensure the show’s vision, tone, and pacing are consistent with the project’s goals.
• Logistics and Operations: Handle all logistical aspects, from equipment rental and setup to day-of shoot management.
• Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional content, including behind-the-scenes materials, teaser trailers, and social media posts.
• Post-Production Oversight: Coordinate post-production, ensuring timely editing, sound design, and any required revisions, leading up to final delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in video production, live event production, or a related field. Prior experience in producing web series, comedy shows, or live performance content is highly preferred.
• Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills with experience managing budgets, schedules, and multi-phase projects.
• Creative Vision: A solid understanding of comedy or improv performance, with the ability to work closely with talent and crew to bring the creative vision to life.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey ideas and instructions to a diverse cast and crew.
• Problem-Solving: Quick thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, particularly during live or on-set situations.
• Team Player: Collaborative and supportive of a creative, high-energy environment. Ability to adapt to changes and work under tight deadlines.
• Availability: Must be available for remote meetings and occasional on-location shoots, as well as flexible with scheduling based on production needs.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with platforms like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar editing software (helpful for understanding post-production workflows).
• Prior experience in comedy, improv, or live performance settings.
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing and audience engagement strategies.
