Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Designer to join the creative team for a few months starting in January 2025 to support us with the busy annual reporting season, new branding projects, and ongoing campaigns. As one of our freelance designers, you will be instrumental in the delivery of a variety of high-profile annual, integrated, and sustainability reports, plus branding collateral and campaigns. We are looking for someone that is conceptual but also detail-oriented, versatile with pragmatism, and happy to get stuck into the day-to-day implementation that comes with these information-packed documents. We work with a variety of clients in sectors such as FMCG, Real Estate, Technology, Tobacco, Financial Services, and Retail, and you could be asked to work across any one of these industries.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a designer in a similar specialist role and from a similar agency background.

• Exceptional knowledge of reporting and the design skills required to deliver reporting projects, plus branding and campaign-oriented projects.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the process and have willingness to take direction.

• Help manage time to accommodate and prioritise client and project demands.

• Accountability to projects assigned to themselves, representing RY with discipline, confidence, and professionalism at all times.

• Ability to translate briefs and understand communication challenges.

• Clear and conscious articulation of thinking and approach.

• Keeps up to date with the latest design techniques and applications.

• Can work comfortably as part of a team, or autonomously as required.

• Excellent proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
