The Denver office of SmithGroup is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team.
In this role, you will develop proposals, qualifications, and presentation graphics. You will assist in the evolution of corporate identity across all internal design materials and execute design for both printed and digital pieces, including brochures, newsletters, and videos.
Responsibilities
- Develop proposals, qualifications, and presentation graphics.
- Assist in the implementation and evolution of corporate identity across all internal design materials.
- Execute the design for printed and digital pieces such as brochures, newsletters, award submittals, and signage.
- Contribute to the design and presentation of client projects, including reports and environmental graphic design.
- Collaborate with team members across disciplines and geographic locations to produce graphics.
- Support concept development for printed and digital pieces with the Creative Services team.
- Create brand materials through design and attention to detail while thinking creatively.
- Maintain knowledge of design trends and suggest ideas to enhance collateral materials within the SmithGroup brand.
- Assist in the development of strategies for project-specific marketing activities and studio marketing initiatives.
- Participate in peer reviews of initial draft documents for visual consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, Word, Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision, MS Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and database programs preferred.
- Ability to understand principles of layout and application to marketing materials.
- Eye for design details, such as typography, alignment, and hierarchy.
- Ability to summarize text and craft an effective written message.
- Knowledge of the print process and experience working directly with print vendors.
- Understanding of video creation and editing tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, is a plus.
- Knowledge of other presentation technologies is a plus.
Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $XX,XXX to $XX,XXX annually, with potential for performance-based bonuses.
