Job Description
We are looking for a Micro Frontend Engineer specializing in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and AWS for positions located in Miramar, FL and Dallas, TX with a hybrid work model. The role is titled Principal Engineer - Platform Engineering and is structured as a 6-month contract with potential for hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing cloud-native platform solutions, leading design and optimization efforts, ensuring platform resilience and security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support secure and scalable digital experiences across web and mobile applications.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and backend systems.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js for backend and cloud services.
- Proven experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Cognito, and CloudWatch for building secure, scalable cloud solutions.
- Strong experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in cloud environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture, Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures, and module federation for building scalable, distributed platforms.
- Experience in securing distributed platforms with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), authentication/authorization, and data protection best practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop cloud-native platform solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes on AWS.
- Lead the design and optimization of platform services focusing on Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures and module federation to ensure modularity and scalability across distributed systems.
- Drive initiatives to ensure platform resilience and security, particularly in distributed architectures requiring strong CIAM and data protection practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform services that support secure and scalable digital experiences across web and mobile applications.
