Job Description

The Graphics Designer is a hands-on design role for an individual with a superb sense of typography, strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium. This role is responsible for the concept and design of all digital content, including branding, website and mobile app UI design, and creating social media posts.

Main responsibilities include conceptualizing and developing visual assets for digital channels such as web, social media, apps, and banners, as well as branding. The designer will pull inspiration and build mood boards to visually explore digital experiences and content, initiate collaboration with merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists to produce consistent and captivating brand messages, and identify new opportunities to elevate the brand in the digital space by staying updated on best practices in social media and UX/UI. The role requires close collaboration with post-production and web production teams to ensure quality results and driving consistency in design treatments across campaigns, aligned with brand principles and standards.

Requirements

Required experience, skills, and qualifications include:

• 2+ years of digital design experience in the agency space, e-commerce, or a brand.
• A strong online portfolio showcasing strong graphic competency and a clean visual aesthetic.
• Critical, conceptual thinker with excellent attention to detail.
• Understanding of print design and application.
• Strong typography skills.
• Fluency in Adobe’s Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.
• Knowledge and understanding of UX/UI/interactive capabilities and best practices.
• Experience in graphic design; experience in web design is preferred.
• Past experience in the retail, fashion, or outdoor related industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of trends and growth opportunities within the Outdoor/Retail industry.
• Ability to thrive and innovate under challenging deadlines while remaining a team player.
• Interest and understanding of photography and videography, including editing, is a plus.
• Submission of a work profile is mandatory; candidates without a Behance profile will not be considered.
