Requirements
Key Skills:
- Core Web Technologies: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Server-Side Development: Experience with PHP, Node.js, and database management (MySQL).
- WordPress Expertise: Skilled in custom WordPress development (themes and plugins), with knowledge of Custom Post Types, Hooks & Filters, and the WordPress API.
- Responsive Design: Proficient with Tailwind and Bootstrap.
- Design Collaboration: Familiar with Figma for bringing designs to life.
- E-commerce: Experience with WooCommerce and payment integrations (like Stripe).
- Development Tools: Comfortable with Git, Composer, and NPM.
Desirable: Experience with Laravel and project management tools like ClickUp, HubSpot, and Microsoft 365.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in web development as a freelancer or contractor (WordPress-specific experience preferred).
Portfolio: A range of examples showcasing your skills, from setup to custom builds.
Start Availability: Ready to dive into projects by early 2025, with flexible hours (generally within standard business hours).

What You’ll Do
Entry-Level: Handle essential WordPress tasks, from setup and basic theme customisation to content updates and landing page builds.
Mid-Level: Lead projects, including custom themes, plugin development, e-commerce builds, and SEO optimisations.
Senior: Oversee high-traffic site builds, complex plugin and theme development, and advanced integrations.
Project-Based Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Participate in internal and client meetings as needed, sharing ideas, insights, and strategies.
- Hybrid Work Model: While you’ll have remote flexibility, we’d love for you to join us in the office occasionally for brainstorming and project milestones.
- Project Tracking & Communication: Keep projects organised in ClickUp, document progress, and communicate updates clearly.
- Time Management: Track your time accurately, communicate timelines proactively, and manage multiple projects with ease.
