Job Description

Lanoha Nurseries, Inc is seeking a talented Hand Illustrator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for landscape design. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the design team to produce hand-drawn illustrations that effectively communicate landscaping ideas to clients, builders, and other stakeholders. Your artwork will be instrumental in presenting the company’s vision and engaging clients in the design process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the landscape design team to understand project requirements.
• Create high-quality hand-drawn illustrations of landscape designs, including plans, structures, pathways, water features, and other design elements.
• Develop concept sketches, renderings, and presentation visuals to support project proposals.
• Maintain a consistent artistic style that aligns with the company’s aesthetic and branding.
• Ensure accurate representation of plant species, colors, and proportions in drawings.
• Adjust illustrations based on feedback from clients or team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hand Illustrator, preferably in landscape or architectural design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing hand-drawn illustrations, sketches, and renderings.
• Knowledge of landscape elements, plant species, and design principles is a PLUS!
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and understanding of scale and perspective.
• Ability to interpret and visualize design concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with digital tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a PLUS! (for any digital touch-ups or enhancements)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Additional Information

Lanoha Nurseries, Inc offers an opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects in the landscape design industry, along with a flexible work schedule and a collaborative and creative work environment. This position is part-time, with an expected work schedule of 8 to 16 hours per week, and pays from $21.00 per hour.
