Job Description

At KCS, we have introduced a flexible hybrid work policy, where employees spend three days in the office and two days working from home. This approach promotes a balanced work environment that combines office collaboration with the comfort and convenience of remote work.

At inspHire, the primary role of the Web Developer is to create and implement web product solutions. The web developer will work closely with the Product Owner to refine and estimate epics and stories, and will collaborate with the development team to meet release and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and translate them into working technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain applications and features, using a variety of programming languages, from design documents, stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Utilise modern design principles and best practices to produce clean, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Work with database technologies such as SQL, ensuring that queries are performant and scalable.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and be comfortable with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing concepts to ensure first-class software quality and reliability.
  • Demonstrate a high level of software craftsmanship, commitment to quality, and a conscientious approach to work.
  • Use source code management tools such as Git, including branching, merging, and pull request code reviews.
  • Work within all areas of the SDLC, participating in all team ceremonies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cloud-native development.
  • Write appropriate documentation to support new features that have been delivered.

Desirable Skills & Competencies:

  • Intermediate HTML, CSS
  • Blazor
  • Microsoft Azure or cloud exposure
  • VMWare/VirtualBox and working with Virtual machines
  • Microsoft DevOps (managing CI/CD pipelines)
  • Jira – Atlassian Toolset Experience
  • Basic accounting skills (understanding ledgers, postings, costs, profits, etc.)

  • The ability to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with both your team and key stakeholders.
  • The ability to influence and motivate stakeholders and team members to achieve objectives.
  • The ability to adapt to change in any periods of change/disruption.

  • Must be comfortable in giving feedback at all levels with integrity as well as receiving it to build trust.
