Job Description

The Founding Frontend Engineer will support the CTO in designing, developing, and refining our platform’s user interface, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for our users. We’re looking for someone skilled in Javascript frameworks like React, as well as cloud computing (ex. AWS and Google Cloud Platform). As part of a small, dynamic, and agile group, you’ll have significant opportunities to grow alongside the company.

Glowtify is a B2B SaaS platform designed for Shopify brands. Our browser-based app provides data-driven, AI-generated marketing content recommendations, making it easy for brands to know what to post. Requirements

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• Proven experience with JavaScript Frameworks, particularly React
• Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with building and integrating APIs for platforms such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and Stripe
• A strong background in handling large datasets and performing complex data processing tasks in a cloud environment
• Autonomy in daily tasks and the potential to take on a supervisory role as the company evolves
• A strong dedication to projects and the ability to sustain efforts over long hours
• The flexibility and willingness to be present in the office at least 2 days a week
• English fluency (conversational French or a willingness to learn would be advantageous)

Candidates with an edge will have:

• 5+ years as a developer
• Generative AI background
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with changing needs
• Familiarity with modern development and deployment tools like typescript, Firebase, Sentry, ESLint, Prettier, and Yarn
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) in a cloud environment
