Job Description

Sapphic LA is a vibrant platform dedicated to empowering and connecting LGBTQ+ women in Los Angeles through curated experiences, community resources, and unique content. We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create visual designs for our City Guide, digital platforms, and promotional materials for events and merchandise. The role will focus on leading the design of the 2025 City Guide, creating cohesive brand aesthetics and collaborating with the Marketing Specialist to ensure design meets content needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of the 2025 City Guide (both print and digital) creating layouts and visuals that ensure a cohesive brand aesthetic.
• Create graphics for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to ensure design meets content needs.
• Design flyers, social graphics, and digital assets for Sapphic LA events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the sapphic community and intersectionality.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Graphic design: 4 years (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 4 years (Required)
• Adobe Illustrator: 4 years (Required)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $33.13 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
