Job Description

Bruno PR & Social and Ten/17 Creative Group are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Senior Social Media Content Creator. This role requires strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills along with proficiency in design, illustration, video, and photography. The focus is on developing creative content for clients in the children’s publishing and product industries. Ideal candidates will have a background in creativity, a keen eye for design, a passion for storytelling, and experience in building impactful online communities. The role involves close collaboration with both the Ten/17 Creative Group and the Bruno PR & Social team.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Conceptualize, create, and deliver compelling and results-driven content for various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Utilize graphic design, illustration, animation, and video content creation to produce engaging, playful, and story-driven content for clients in the children’s publishing industry.
• Ensure brand aesthetics and tone align with client’s social media strategy and guidelines.

Trend Utilization:

• Strategize around emerging social trends and creatively apply them to clients’ social content, providing rationale for each creative decision.

Brand Aesthetic:

• Employ brand guidelines that reflect the desired aesthetic, tone, and overarching concepts within social content, ensuring consistency and originality.

Social Agency Partnership:

• Partner with the social media agency on strategy implementation and ideation, delivering creative concepts in alignment with brand content strategy.
• Collaborate with the agency team on delivering final approved posts.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in social media content creation, including graphic design, animation, video production, and/or illustration.
• Design & Illustration Skills: Advanced skills in graphic design and illustration for children’s books or similar content. Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and animation tools is required.
• Content Creation: Proven ability to conceptualize, create, and publish original content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Platform Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube algorithms, growth strategies, and emerging trends.
• Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with the ability to adapt to changing trends and client needs.
• Interest: A passion for children’s media and storytelling through visual and social content.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
