Job Description

Join OMG’s UX Design team and help shape the future of a rapidly-growing and industry-leading product! This role will work alongside multi-faceted teams and is responsible for the design of UI/UX systems, features, and workflows across multiple phases of a digital product lifecycle. You will collaborate cross-functionally on user research to ensure stability in solutions, advocate for the end-user, and take into consideration technical limitations. This role will report directly to our Manager of UX Design.

Day-to-day, you will play a vital role on the design team’s UX efforts, from quickly prototyping ideas to producing high-fidelity designs of new features and products. You will confidently and clearly communicate and present your work to internal team members (including executives) and possibly external vendors, answering questions and articulating information. This position requires regular in-office presence at our Dallas, TX HQ, with a planned attendance of three days a week.

Requirements

Must Haves:

  • 0-1 years of professional design experience, preferably in UI/UX
  • A body of past work that showcases strong core UI design skills including interaction design, visual hierarchy, and attention to detail (a portfolio of design projects or past examples of work will be requested)
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, Invision, or other design and prototyping tools
  • Enjoys working collaboratively in small teams with other specialized individuals
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to conceptualize and define beautiful UI/UX
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required (Visa Sponsorship is not available)

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous experience with agile and working directly with engineers
  • Fluency in Figma and working with design systems or libraries
