Job Description

Scopely is looking for a 3D Animator to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis! As a 3D Animator, you will produce animations for characters and 3D objects, perform integrations directly in the engine, update tasks on project management platforms, and participate in various project development dynamics. You will also collaborate with the creative team on brainstorms, ideations, storyboards, and animatics, work with attention to detail, and direct animation-driven advertisements.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience producing 3D animation for games for commercial purposes, with multiple released products.

• Proficiency in traditional animation concepts and 3D animation software.

• Understanding of advanced rigging techniques.

• Expertise in creating state machines for animation.

• Knowledge of technical aspects of the engine related to animation, such as compression, memory, and performance.

• Understanding of storytelling fundamentals such as composition, editing, and pacing.

• Ability to work efficiently in line with art direction without supervision.

• Proven track record of making assertive decisions that positively impact project outcomes.

• Interest and proficiency in technically implementing all aspects of animation in a game.

• Strong communication skills and ability to provide effective technical feedback.

• Ability to switch seamlessly between animation software and engines.

• Knowledge of scripting for process automation.

• Understanding of technical aspects related to the organization and optimization of pipelines and animation tools for new projects.
