Job Description

Job Title: Java Developer (Payment System)

Duration: Long-term contract

Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in Sheffield based office)

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Java Developer with experience in microservices architecture, Payment System, and AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based payment applications.
  • Build and manage HTTP APIs in a microservices environment.
  • Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and AWS cloud services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
  • Apply knowledge of payment systems (ideal) to enhance application functionality.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java and microservices concepts.
  • Experience in the payment domain.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Passionate, curious, and interested in continuous learning.
