This role, the CGI Senior Lead Automotive Lighting Artist, is pivotal in producing exceptional visual content for automotive clients using advanced 3D software techniques. Responsibilities include mentoring artists, managing projects, liaising with clients, and ensuring high-quality lighting results for automotive products.

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Houdini/Max/V-ray) for lighting and rendering automotive models.
• Expertise in studio lighting using HDRi techniques as well as full HDRi environment lighting.
• Ability to collaborate with the in-house pipeline team to manage complex 3D and USD files for rendering and content output.
• High-level Photoshop skills for enhancing visual work.
• Understanding of production workflows and procedures to ensure asset specifications are met through quality checks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a solid foundation in general CGI knowledge.
• Engagement in the improvement of production pipelines.
