Job Description

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models by providing human feedback. We are looking for experienced English writers who would like to lend their expertise to train AI models. This reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity is remote with flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and experience as a professional writer or editor.

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at an accredited institution.

• A strong sense of writing style with exceptional English-language spelling and grammar, as well as logic and reasoning skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to clearly explain the strengths and weaknesses of a given piece of text.

Payment

• Core project work pay rates for English writing experts in the US range from $15 to $35 USD per hour.

• UK: Estimated up to £11 to £27 GBP per hour.

• Canada: Estimated up to $20 to $48 CAD per hour.

• Australia: Estimated up to $22 to $53 AUD per hour.

• New Zealand: Estimated up to $25 to $58 NZD per hour.

• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors.

Additional Information

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform. As this is a freelance opportunity, we do not offer internships, sponsorship, or employment.
