Job Description

Ancoba is a fast-growing construction business with an in-house joinery company, serving clients in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and London. We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting visually appealing drawings and designs, including kitchens, wardrobes, utility rooms, and other bespoke joinery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in design within the construction sector.

Requirements

Duties:

• Provide high-quality drawings using either SketchUp or Revit.
• Amend, review and issue drawings, recording amendments and maintaining files.
• Produce 2D and 3D CAD outputs that are fully annotated and workshop ready.
• Attend on-site meetings with project managers and clients.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
• Prepare presentations and mock-ups for client review.

Skills:

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as SketchUp and Revit.
• Proven ability to create detailed and accurate CAD drawings; experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.
• High level of accuracy in producing drawings and technical documentation.
• Ability to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in design work.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
