Job Description
Job Title: Fullstack Java Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA – Hybrid (1-2 days onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (12 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Build responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.
- Work closely with product teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure integration with external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and manage database operations using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other RDBMS.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to deploy and maintain applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
- Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js.
- Proficient with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or retail domains.
