Job Description

Multicultural Christian band is seeking six vocalists: two sopranos, two altos, and two tenors. Candidates must be adept at leading and performing contemporary, gospel, or other Christian music as requested. The audition video should be limited to 2 minutes. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person audition with the Musical Director and Vocal Director, which will last about an hour and a half. The audition will require three song selections: one song of choice, one prepared song, and one on-the-spot group selection. Pay will be determined based on a two-hour set.

Requirements

• Ability to attend unpaid rehearsals.
• Memorize musical selections and routines.
• Ability to take cues or direction from the musical director.
• Willingness to rehearse to improve vocal techniques and learn new songs.
• Ability to hear music to learn vocal parts.
• Capability to sing as a soloist or as part of a vocal group.
• Willingness to travel to engagements as needed.
• Experience performing before live audiences or in media productions.
• Completion of orientation and signing of participation documents.
• Ability to record vocals for albums, videos, and other audio projects.
