Job Description

We are looking for a creative, confident, and innovative Social Media Manager for Wedgwood on a 9-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover). This role will take ownership of the brand’s social media channels and support the brand strategy by developing and driving global social media strategies through engaging visual storytelling, aimed at connecting with a younger audience while being sensitive to our existing consumers.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and drive the global social media strategy in line with brand strategy.
  • Create and share social media plans that meet local market needs while supporting the overall brand strategy.
  • Develop and drive the influencer strategy and manage global influencer partnerships.
  • Oversee social media management across all global platforms including scheduling posts and community management.
  • Align with the paid social team on organic boosting plans.
  • Collaborate with the Brand, Merchandising & Creative team to brief content needs and capture social-media-first content.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on all social media activity and performance against KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing.
  • 5+ years of overall experience.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience in a social media role.
  • Experience in content creation for social media and familiarity with applications like Adobe Suite.
  • Understanding of paid social strategies.
  • Luxury fashion or homeware brand experience is an advantage.
  • High standard of writing in English (native proficiency preferred).
  • Enjoy working in an international environment and communicating with diverse colleagues.

Additional Information

This role is based in our UK office located in Staffordshire and offers a hybrid work arrangement (onsite/remotely). The application deadline is 30 November 2024.
