Job Description

The Motion Designer/Animator is responsible for generating impactful design solutions for diverse interdisciplinary projects within physical environments. With skills and experience in both motion and graphic design, they provide a progressive point of view on design excellence. This role involves supporting projects’ creative vision and collaborating with various teams to generate cutting-edge visual experiences. It is intended for mid to senior-level designers/animators or visual effects artists who are skilled in designing, creating, and animating. Film production designers and photography art directors should not apply.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Motion Design, Animation, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Motion Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical proficiency.

- 3-5+ years of experience.

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects (2D animation), Photoshop, and Illustrator.

- Additional proficiency in Cinema 4D and/or 3D software is preferred.

Skills:

- Ability to visualize core design principles (layout, typography, color) cohesively across deliverables.

- Competence in designing and animating dynamic and compelling motion graphics using various assets and mixed media.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey design rationales.

- Excellent organizational skills with a rigorous attention to detail and effective time management capabilities.

Technical Skills:

- Stay updated on industry trends and technology in motion and graphic design.

- Maintain a highly organized and user-friendly working file structure.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Project Management:

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.

Benefits:

Rate: Commensurate with experience, $75 - $100 per hour.

- Travel may be required (domestic and global).
