Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Photographer to capture stunning images that tell compelling stories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, photo editing, and social media management, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on various projects. This role offers the flexibility to work on a freelance basis, allowing you to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality visual content.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photographs for a range of projects including events, portraits, products, and editorial content.
  • Edit and retouch images using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One to ensure the final product meets professional standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each shoot.
  • Manage social media accounts by curating and posting engaging visual content that aligns with brand messaging.
  • Stay updated on photography trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and creativity.
  • Maintain an organised portfolio of work that showcases your best photography projects.
  • Assist in the production of video content using tools like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere when required.

Requirements

  • Proficient in photography techniques and equipment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
  • Experienced in photo editing software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and Capture One.
  • Knowledge of social media management strategies to effectively promote photographic work online.
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • A background in journalism or storytelling through visual media is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, lighting, and colour.
