Job Description

Glance is a small, boutique mobile design and development agency with a fully remote, worldwide team. We build mobile apps and supporting systems for clients ranging from startups to prominent household names and cover almost all market verticals. We are growing our UK presence and looking for an Android Developer (Native Kotlin) to join our remote delivery team. The role involves building and testing mobile products and platforms for our clients, ensuring the release of high-quality code through an efficient and repeatable process.

In this position, you will work closely with other remote developers and designers, forming a cross-functional team responsible for developing both mobile products and supporting backend services. The role also includes proposing best-fit approaches for mobile development and ensuring client business goals are met efficiently. You will be part of our Agile team and attend all Agile ceremonies to help plan, estimate, refine work, and execute on the clients’ vision to the highest standard.

Requirements

If you join us, you will need to:

• Design and deploy high-performance Kotlin applications for mobile.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new products.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Integrate with server-side APIs and third-party services.
• Perform diagnostic tests, fix bugs, and provide technical support to clients.
• Document software development processes and prepare project reports.
• Provide suggestions for improvement and apply them to daily tasks and processes.

• An experienced Android developer for technology companies.
• Knowledgeable in Kotlin, libraries, frameworks, and tech stacks.
