Job Description
Norton is a full-service creative agency specializing in the restaurant and hospitality industry, working with various local and national brands. We are looking to add a Senior Graphic Designer to our team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a professional designer for consumer-facing creative, preferably in the restaurant sector. The candidate should be creative, a quick learner, and possess a solid understanding of design principles, with a strong attention to detail.
Our services range from restaurant concept development to menu design, social media strategy, and brand positioning. The diverse team at Norton enables us to uncover a brand’s potential through long-term partnerships with our team and clients, which we believe is where the best work is born.
Responsibilities
- Design print & digital marketing materials for national and local food brands.
- Develop creative focused on client goals and objectives.
- Work collaboratively and embrace constructive feedback.
- Self-sufficient and able to independently develop processes.
- Think both strategically and creatively.
- Stay current with the global design community.
- Be honest and direct without exception.
- Create impeccable presentations and mockups.
- Demonstrate a commitment to innovating.
- Display a desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to follow established creative styles or create from scratch.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a great attitude.
- Ability to receive creative direction and design critique openly.
Requirements
- A design degree from an accredited university in graphic design.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Agency experience preferred.
- Restaurant/food brand experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
