Job Description

Norton is a full-service creative agency specializing in the restaurant and hospitality industry, working with various local and national brands. We are looking to add a Senior Graphic Designer to our team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a professional designer for consumer-facing creative, preferably in the restaurant sector. The candidate should be creative, a quick learner, and possess a solid understanding of design principles, with a strong attention to detail.

Our services range from restaurant concept development to menu design, social media strategy, and brand positioning. The diverse team at Norton enables us to uncover a brand’s potential through long-term partnerships with our team and clients, which we believe is where the best work is born.

Responsibilities

  • Design print & digital marketing materials for national and local food brands.
  • Develop creative focused on client goals and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively and embrace constructive feedback.
  • Self-sufficient and able to independently develop processes.
  • Think both strategically and creatively.
  • Stay current with the global design community.
  • Be honest and direct without exception.
  • Create impeccable presentations and mockups.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to innovating.
  • Display a desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to follow established creative styles or create from scratch.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a great attitude.
  • Ability to receive creative direction and design critique openly.

Requirements

  • A design degree from an accredited university in graphic design.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Restaurant/food brand experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
