Position: Online Podcast/Live Auction Streamer

Location: Remote (with occasional travel if necessary)

Overview: We are seeking an energetic, charismatic, and tech-savvy individual to host engaging online podcasts and live auctions. The ideal candidate will entertain, educate, and engage with our audience while showcasing and selling products during live auctions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong on-camera presence, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for viewers.

Key Responsibilities

• Host live podcast episodes and auctions, creating an engaging and interactive experience for the audience.
• Present, describe, and showcase products effectively, highlighting their key features and benefits.
• Build rapport with online viewers by responding to comments, answering questions, and fostering a sense of community.
• Research and prepare for each stream by understanding the products and market trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for audience engagement and product promotion.
• Use live-streaming platforms and tools to manage streams efficiently, including scheduling, broadcasting, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Monitor and analyze viewer engagement and sales data to improve future streams.
• Stay up-to-date with live-streaming trends and incorporate innovative ideas into broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in live streaming, podcasting, or similar on-camera roles.
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable using live-streaming platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram, TikTok, or specialized auction platforms).
• Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of audio/video equipment and streaming software.
• A confident, outgoing personality with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Sales experience or a strong understanding of selling strategies is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced live-streaming environment.
• Flexible schedule, as live streams may require evenings or weekends.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in auctions, e-commerce, or product sales.
• Knowledge of liquidation or wholesale industries.
• Video editing or content creation skills for repurposing live-stream content.
• Ability to create and maintain a professional and entertaining online presence.
