Job Description

Working as a Content Designer at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, you will write, develop and optimise fantastic content for a range of digital channels, ensuring it’s clear, engaging, creative, thoughtful and accessible. You will take complex language and content and simplify it, advocating for user-focused design while clearly explaining your decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring optimal user journeys through content derived from insights and user testing.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships to produce accurate, timely content.
  • Choosing the best formats for information display, proactively identifying content gaps and suggesting improvements.
  • Collaborating with external suppliers and managing budgets, finance administration, and procurement processes.
  • Writing and editing high-quality content across various channels such as web pages, social media, and newsletters.
  • Simplifying complex issues and ensuring content accuracy.
  • Supporting the commissioning of multimedia content and managing the delivery of major publications.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of digital content.
  • Defining and elevating product quality.
