Job Description

Scopely is looking for a 3D Animator to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. As a 3D Animator, you will produce animations for characters and 3D objects, perform integrations directly into the engine, and update tasks on the project management platform. Your role will also involve participating in development dynamics, collaborating with the creative team, working with attention to detail, and directing animation-driven advertisements.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience producing 3D animation for commercial games with multiple released products.
• Proficiency in traditional animation concepts and 3D animation software.
• Understanding of advanced rigging techniques and expertise in creating state machines for animation.
• Knowledge of technical aspects of the engine related to animation, including compression, memory, and performance.
• Understanding of storytelling fundamentals such as composition, editing, and pacing.
• Ability to work efficiently in line with art direction without supervision.
• Proven track record of making assertive decisions that positively impact project outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide effective technical feedback.
• Ability to seamlessly switch between animation software and engines.
• Knowledge of scripting for process automation.
• Understanding of technical aspects related to the organization and optimization of pipelines and animation tools for new projects.
