Job Description

Marshall Associates Inc. (“MAI”) is a sales and marketing firm specializing in merchandising consumer goods across various categories such as Lawn & Garden, Toys, Sporting Goods, and Furniture. MAI is headquartered on Goose Island in Chicago and focuses on E-Commerce, Marketing, Tech Development, and International Representation. We have an immediate opening for a Digital Designer within our Creative team. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, eager to learn, and possess fast-paced in-house design studio experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional digital graphic design experience
• Strong online portfolio highlighting a wide range of design skills
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or related field

Technical Skills:

• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), other Adobe products a plus
• Expert knowledge of layout, typography, and overall design aesthetics with high attention to detail
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional graphic design experience for digital platforms, preferably for eCommerce
• Professional photography and videography experience a plus
• Cinema 4D experience

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop design to final execution, with minimal direction
• Develop or manipulate images in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with color correction, sizing and appropriate resolutions, and more
• Develop digital assets for eCommerce, including above-the-fold images, enhanced brand content, brand stores, paid advertisements, and more
• Assist with photography and videography projects in both studio and on-location settings
• Provide new ideas and strategies to create an effective workflow
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define and deliver the most effective creative solutions
• Participate in brainstorming and high-level kickoff meetings to develop innovative solutions
• Stay up-to-date with current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field
• Maintain and ensure visual brand consistency across projects
