Job Description

Are you a recent Computer Science graduate passionate about software engineering? As part of the Kounsel team, you will take part in every step of the Kounsel product experience, from design and development to testing, deploying, and maintaining. You will help us shape our product and play a part in creating the best experience for Kounsel’s users. Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

Compensation: Paid

Timezone: EST, PST, CST, or MST

Responsibilities

• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical expertise.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
• Write and test product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the sources and impacts of issues.

Requirements

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Please upload ALL transcripts as part of the application process).
• Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Basic Git experience.
• One year of working experience (projects, internships, employment) in areas including Angular, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

General Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the last two years.
• Excellent communication, and presentation skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while contributing to a team environment.
• Must have the equipment and environment to work remotely (laptop/computer, reliable internet connection, quiet, conducive space).
