Contract: Full-time and Part-time

Job Description

We are seeking a talented freelance animator to create stunning projection animations for a unique restaurant project. The project focuses on integrating Thai cultural elements to deliver an immersive dining experience for our customers. The animations will be projected onto dining tables, with multiple fixed areas per table. The design should highlight Thai cultural themes, including traditional art, Thai cuisine, and dynamic effects. Animations must align with the dining table layout and be seamless for looping playback.

Responsibilities

Animation Design and Production: Conceptualize, design, and produce animations featuring Thai cultural elements and performances.

Layout Alignment: Ensure the animations match the dimensions and layouts of the dining tables provided.

Delivery: Deliver high-resolution animation files (MP4 or other suitable formats) ready for projection. Create animations that loop seamlessly, with a duration of 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Required Skills

Proficiency in animation software:

  • 2D Tools: After Effects, Animate, Toon Boom.
  • 3D Tools: Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D.

Understanding of dynamic design and projection techniques, with the ability to adapt animations for physical layouts.

Strong cultural sensitivity and creativity: Ability to incorporate Thai cultural elements into animations.

Excellent communication skills: Ability to collaborate effectively and make adjustments based on feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in projection animation or immersive experience projects.

Familiarity with projection calibration, area partitioning, and multi-area projection techniques.

A portfolio showcasing similar projects or relevant animation work.

Project Timeline

Estimated project duration: 2 weeks (negotiable).

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
