Seeking Post-Production Sound Professionals for Independent Feature Film “The Distance We Drift”

We are looking for a talented and passionate sound professional to join our post-production team for The Distance We Drift, a 90-minute independent feature film. This is a deeply personal, self-funded project exploring themes of love, immigration, and displacement. The film is intended for submission to international film festivals and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

-Sound design for the film
-Foley recording and editing
-Post-production dialogue editing
-ADR recording and synchronization
-Noise reduction and audio restoration
-Final mixing to create a stereo master file

Requirements:

-Proficiency in all aspects of sound post-production
-Experience working on feature films preferred
-Ability to work within budget constraints
-Understanding of the film’s themes and emotional tone
-Knowledge of Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is a plus but not mandatory

Compensation: As this is a self-financed independent project, remuneration is negotiable based on experience and scope of work.
