Job Description

Role: Content Creator

Location: Glasgow, (Typically 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Content Creator with experience in the film/video production industry. This role involves working across all stages of pre- and post-production to deliver high-quality, engaging corporate and short-form video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, be a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Confident camera operator with knowledge of sound and lighting setups.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
  • Creative thinker comfortable leading projects and taking direction.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with corporate video production.
  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with client-facing roles and photography.
  • Working knowledge of Mac systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Production:

  • Collaborate with producers to interpret and develop client briefs.
  • Plan and execute multi-camera and lighting setups for different scenarios.
  • Manage sound recording equipment and ensure high-quality audio capture.

Production:

  • Operate cameras confidently during shoots, including single and multi-camera setups.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth shoot execution.

Post-Production:

  • Edit short-form videos and corporate content with a creative and detail-oriented approach.
  • Create animations and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
  • Perform basic color grading to enhance the final video quality.
  • Maintain clear communication with producers throughout the post-production process.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with a team, including freelance editors and motion graphics artists.
  • Push creative boundaries by experimenting with new techniques.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members when required.
