Application Developer

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Salary: Negotiable (Expat Package)

About Our Client: Our client is a key player in a consortium dedicated to delivering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious National Renewable Energy Program. This initiative aims to achieve a total renewable energy capacity of 11.4 GW once fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and implement software applications based on user requirements and specifications. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• System Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, providing timely solutions to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues. Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and deployment guides. Document code changes and updates to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver cohesive and user-friendly applications. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to improve code quality and team performance.
• Maintenance and Support: Monitor application performance and user feedback, making necessary updates and improvements. Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in application development or software engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience in relevant frameworks and technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and web services (RESTful APIs).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
