Job Description

We are seeking a creative and data-driven SEO Content Strategist to craft impactful content that drives organic traffic and supports our broader search marketing objectives. This role focuses on producing high-quality, long-form articles designed to capture organic search traffic while aligning with overarching SEO and content marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & SEO Expertise: Develop and write comprehensive, search-optimized articles tailored to target audience interests and search intent. Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-potential opportunities for organic traffic growth. Craft engaging headlines, meta data, and on-page content that adhere to SEO best practices. Stay informed on evolving SEO trends and algorithms to ensure content strategies remain effective.

Strategic Insight & Collaboration: Translate data insights into actionable content strategies that align with long-term business goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align content initiatives with other SEO and business efforts. Identify content gaps and recommend creative solutions to capture untapped search opportunities.

Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze content performance metrics, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Develop detailed reports on SEO content performance, including traffic trends, rankings, and engagement.

Client & Team Engagement: Effectively communicate results, ideas, and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders. Adhere to routine monthly processes for delivering content efforts and communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in SEO strategy, content creation, or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in writing detailed, research-based articles optimized for search engines.

• A natural curiosity for understanding search behavior and aligning it with strategic goals.

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Compensation Range: $37.00 - $55.00/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. This role may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
