Location: Bristol, Hybrid 2+ Days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £45,000 if you have all the skills & experience / Plus up to 10% annual company bonus
As a Product Designer (UX/UI), your continuous collaboration with the product and engineering team will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our current and future products and services. You will be involved in customer discovery, concept ideation to delivery, upholding the users needs while collaborating with engineering teams to translate your visions into reality.
This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the transition to renewable energy and will adapt as our company grows.
Objectives & Responsibilities
Your objectives and responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and define design requirements.
- Conducting research to uncover user needs.
- Defining user needs into clear statements for business solutions.
- Leading brainstorming and ideation sessions for innovative design concepts.
- Creating low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize design ideas.
- Testing and validating ideas with real users and customers.
- Developing high-fidelity visual designs in Figma aligned with product vision and brand guidelines.
- Maintaining a design system for consistency across solutions.
- Supporting user research and usability testing, iterating on prototypes.
- Working closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of design concepts.
- Setting up metrics to track usability post-implementation.
Requirements
You should apply if you have:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer (UX/UI) with a portfolio showcasing user-centred design process.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Xd, Miro, and Mural.
- In-depth understanding of user-centred design principles and interaction design.
- Ability to convert concepts into visually engaging, build-ready solutions.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
