Job Description

As a Support Developer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to all users of the EchoPlus application, both internal and external. You will collaborate with developers, customer support representatives, and the product team to troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, implement solutions, and document processes.

Requirements

1. General Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd level support, monitoring and tracking incidents and enhancement requests to meet service level obligations.
  • Escalate to 3rd level support for technical resolutions and development of business solutions.
  • Prepare and perform countries’ requests for new application developments/enhancements ensuring a standardized and harmonized process.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Implement best practices, improvements or new/change requests from users, ensuring alignment with the change process.
  • Participate in testing and validation of software fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements and processes.
  • Continuously improve support processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure availability of a single point of contact to users for prompt communication.

2. Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Drive self-learning and improvement in IT business solution services and company behaviors as part of continuous learning.

3. Functional Skills and Knowledge:

  • Broad knowledge of IT application functionality and business solutions (e.g. mobility, .Net, SaaS).
  • Experience in supervising, implementing, and supporting applications developed in MSSQL, .Net, and Android/iOS platforms.
  • Knowledge or ability in Microsoft SQL and T-SQL.
  • Knowledge in Azure and Scrum is preferable.
  • Familiarity with the IT Service Management framework.
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner.
  • Basic numeracy and excellent quantitative analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computing/Information Technology or its equivalent.
