We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Assistant to join Taylored Collective on a part-time freelance basis, based in Belfast or the surrounding area. Our clientele includes renowned brands such as The Dubliner, West Cork Distillery, Foxes Bow, Killowen, and Dunvilleā€™s Irish Whiskey, as well as esteemed partners like Gruppo Campari, Aperol, Jose Cuervo and The Macallan. We also feature on our portfolio top-tier venues including Anantara Hotels, Fairmont Hotels, The Galgorm Collection, The Shelbourne Hotel and Michelin-starred Chapter One.

This role is ideal for a candidate looking to build their portfolio and gain hands-on experience in social media within the hospitality and drinks sectors. Initially requiring a few hours per week, this role has the potential for increased hours or salary depending on performance and business needs.

As our Social Media Assistant, you will play a key role in expanding our online presence, engaging our audience, and promoting our clients through effective social media strategies. This position requires a strong grasp of social media management and content creation, as well as the creativity to craft posts that resonate with our brandā€™s high-calibre clientele.

Requirements

  • A creative individual with a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in the hospitality and drinks industries.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms, with the ability to track and improve engagement metrics.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as part of a team when required.
  • Familiarity with Canva. Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous but not essential.
  • Any ability/ownership of a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera would be advantageous but is not required. Training available to candidates with camera equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create engaging contentā€”including images, reels, and written postsā€”that align with Taylored Collectiveā€™s clients brand aesthetics.
  • Monitor social media channels to identify trends, engage with followers, and respond promptly to comments and messages.
  • Manage daily social media activities, posting updates, fostering community engagement, and maintaining our brandā€™s online reputation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and social media best practices, applying insights to improve our online engagement strategies.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, promotions, or content campaigns in collaboration with the Taylored Collective team.
  • Assist on large scale shoots across Belfast and Dublin when needed.
