Job Description

Our paint team is expanding and we are looking for a candidate who is experienced in automotive refinishing in either accident repair, restoration or production environment. You should be competent in surface prep, painting and finishing and able to work as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by thoroughly cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming, ensuring optimal adhesion and uniform finishes.
• Execute precise paint application techniques, maintaining consistency and accuracy across multiple projects.
• Apply finishing processes, including buffing and polishing, to achieve a flawless final appearance that meets or exceeds quality benchmarks.
• Adhere to industry safety standards and best practices, managing hazardous materials responsibly and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive refinishing gained through accident repair centres, vehicle restoration projects, or production environments.
• Proficiency in surface prep, paint mixing, spray application, and finish detailing.
• Commitment to quality control, precision, and process improvement, demonstrated by consistently excellent refinishing results.
• Effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and environmental compliance standards related to automotive refinishing.
