Freelance Videographer – Spray Tex Painting

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Area

Pay: $100 per postable piece of content

Monthly Requirement: 18 pieces of content per month (averaging 4-5 pieces per week)

Total Monthly Pay: $1,800 when all 18 pieces are delivered

We are Spray Tex Painting, a family-owned painting company serving the DFW area. We’re looking for a creative and organized Freelance Videographer to capture and produce engaging video content that highlights our work. Types of content include high-end before-and-after transformations, candid shots with clients and painters, work-in-progress videos, satisfying spray/painting shots, and informative talking heads with our team.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record of creating similar content (examples required)
• Equipment: Must provide your own camera gear (we supply high-end mini-mics)
• Skills: Strong editing and storytelling abilities; drone experience is a plus!
• Organization: Ability to manage a schedule, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Transportation: Must have a working vehicle for travel across DFW

Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Produce 18 short-form videos per month (4-5 per week)
• Types of content include:
• Talking heads (informative, casual FAQs/Tips with Senior Project Manager)
• Before-and-after transformations
• Work-in-progress shots
• Satisfying painting/spraying visuals
• Candid moments of job walk-throughs with clients

Project Management:

• Track before-and-after shoots using a project tracking sheet
• Ensure quick turnaround times for content delivery

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Content Manager to coordinate shoots and content planning
• Attend a 15-minute virtual check-in each week with the Senior Project Manager and Content Manager to discuss updates, progress, and upcoming shoots

Editing:

• Professionally edit all content, ready for posting

On-Site & Travel:

• On-Site Filming: Up to 4 hours per week on-site (about 1 hour per job visit)
• Travel Time: Estimated 2-4 hours per week, depending on job locations
• Meetings: Meet with our Senior Project Manager twice per week for shoots
• Gas Reimbursement: Up to $75 per week for gas
• Location Insight: Most jobs are located in the suburbs of DFW, with some projects in central DFW, so travel time may vary based on where you live.
