Role: Senior Videographer/Editor

Location: Sheffield, UK (studio based role)

Flexibility: 3-5 days p/w

Salary: £35-45k pro-rata

We believe video has the power to create real connection. It can help leaders engage their people, connect brands with their audiences, and amplify storytelling to create heart-felt impact. We’re looking for a Senior Videographer and Editor to help us create videos that showcase the human side of business, including stories behind organizations and insights hidden within the noise. This role involves shooting and editing video content for both 3800 and our international clients, covering a range of formats such as long-form brand films, interviews, documentaries, educational guides, and social media content. Additionally, you will capture events and help translate in-person activities (like workshops) into a digital format.

You will work within a small, senior team of strategists, writers, and designers, with potential for progression to build out the video production side of 3800. You will join us during a period of growth as we seek new clients who align with our values and ethos of creating a positive impact in the workplace and the world.

Requirements

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Collaborating with creative teams and clients to form, understand, and interpret briefs.
• Developing shot lists, storyboards, and schedules.
• Scouting locations, assessing lighting conditions, and preparing equipment for shooting.
• Capturing high-quality video content for different platforms.
• Enhancing videos through shooting techniques and use of technology.
• Reviewing and organizing raw footage with an effective post-production workflow.
• Editing video content, including selecting and integrating music and audio.
• Using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or compositing software.
• Ensuring video content has a consistent tone and style, in alignment with brand guidance.

About You:

• Over five years of experience in capturing and editing video content, managing shoots from idea generation to final output.
• A passion for video-based storytelling and staying updated with trends and techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of cameras, lighting, and sound, with the ability to make project-specific recommendations.
• A collaborative mindset, comfortable working with creative teams and directly with clients.
• High standards of quality control to ensure final outputs meet or exceed expectations.
• Willingness to travel for work both in the UK and abroad.
