Location: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite in Newcastle

Role Overview: The client is seeking an experienced Mobile Lead Developer to drive the development and enhancement of their mobile application. This role involves leading a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly mobile solutions that align with the company’s mission to provide sustainable weight loss tools.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of mobile developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the mobile application across Android platforms.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the mobile app meets high standards of performance, security, and user satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and nutrition experts to integrate features supporting weight loss goals.
- Innovation: Stay updated on emerging mobile technologies to drive app improvement and innovation.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in mobile application development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in Kotlin programming for Android.
- Proficiency in Android Jetpack.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring development teams.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Passion for health, fitness, and technology-driven solutions.
Additional Information
This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring the candidate to be onsite in Newcastle for 2 to 3 days a week.
